Psychological testing refers to the administration of psychological tests. A psychological test is an objective and standardized measure of a sample of behavior. Performance on these items produce a test score. A score on a well-designed test  reflects a psychological construct such as achievement in a school subject, cognitive ability, aptitude, emotional functioning, personality and some more.

Intelligence Tests:

Intelligence tests help to objectively assess the subjects’ intellectual level and quantify it in a comparative value of Intelligence Quotient (IQ). It also provides with the in-depth assessment of various intellectual capacities.

Specific Learning Disability Tests:

Learning disability is diagnosed when there is a deficit of Reading, Writing, Spelling or Arithmetic, which is out of proportion with the intelligence and age appropriate expectations of the subject (can be exclusive or a mixture of areas). These tests help to assess the above mentioned difficulties qualitatively and quantitatively. We also provide remedial education programs for the same.

Developmental Tests:

Development is a dynamic process and a general course of psycho-physiological growth leading to achievement of new skills and abilities is observed. Tests are developed to assess the development level at which the subject belongs to. In infancy & early childhood these scales can be compared with the intellectual capacity of the child. These scales give us an in-depth understanding of the child’s developmental level in various areas.

Psychiatric Scales:

Various objective psychiatric scales help to assess different types of mental disorders and quantify the pathology. Thus, it aids in better understanding of the disorder, its prognosis and help in chalking out better treatment plans. These include autism assessment and neuropsychological assessment.

Personality Tests:

With unstructured and ambiguous or semi-structured stimulus, the subject gets to express a part of his desires, beliefs, attitudes, and view of life which helps to bring out the internal structure of the personality, which would aid in a better understanding of self.

Vocational & Occupational Tests:

Job satisfaction, successful career, higher achievements and progress of a person in educational life or career depends quite a lot on that person’s interest, aptitude and various other personality factors. Vocational and Occupational scales / tests help us to identify these personal factors and use them for further better guidance.
